But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your forefathers served beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.
I’ve asked Sandy and Jim Barela to share with you today how they’ve lived this verse out with their family. I saw first hand the impact it makes on young adults when serving the Lord in the home is a priority. If I have one regret in my life, it’s that I did not do this well in my own home. But I know the God is sovereign over everything, including our families. Take heart!

I like your comment, Jennifer, about letting go of the past and move forward.
I am glad that you get to spend the time with your publisher and friend. It’s special.
this was a wonderful video. I have heard it all through my mom over the years. we grew up on a farm in CA with five kiddos and dad worked in IL. so yes many of the women there said that it took a community to raise the children. heart attitudes are nourished and mom helped us with that. very nice video, thanks for sharing all of you.
