I do not regard myself as having laid hold of it yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:13-14
In today’s culture, there are more blended families than not. Often, the brokenness of failed marriages affects the children more than the parents. Today, I’ve asked my daughter Nikki to share what being a part of a blended family has meant to her.

I love being able to see Nikki. She is a beautiful woman. I also enjoy hearing about her take on having step-parents and step-siblings. I could only hope most children can get to her outlook on the subject. In my personal life, my husband passed away and I am remarrying. While my children are adults, I wonder how they feel about my fiancé or how they will feel as they get to know him.
So lovely to see your daughter!!! God has richly blessed your family!
Thank you for sharing your many blessings with all of us.
Welcome ladies. Thanks for sharing about this important topic. I have never been exposed to blended families. Now that I am thinking about it, I am not even sure why. But I can so see the difficulties and challenges. Your daughter is so right about being patient. God is in control and there is a reason, just need to wait on His time.
