Christmas Crafting Fun for Everyone

This project was a joy to work on for a couple reasons—I was making it for a good friend, and the idea was one I conceived on my own. I’m usually not that creative, although if someone shows me a project, I can usually recreate it. I’ve been meaning to do another Merry Christmas for myself, but I never seem to find the time. Enjoy the video, see the materials needed with links below, and don’t forget to enter below for a chance to win a $50 Amazon Gift Card.

What you’ll need for the Merry Christmas Blocks:

2 x 4’s cut to whatever size you’d like for your project. The M (for Merry) and the C (for Christmas) were 4” tall.

2 x 3’s (which I accidentally called 3 x 4’s in the video). These were 2.75” for the smaller letters and 4” for the “h” and “y”.

A paper trimmer or Cricut

Decorative paper (which I got at Hobby Lobby)

Mod Podge (also from Hobby Lobby). I used matte, but you can get satin or glossy finish as well.

Brayer Roller

Foam brushes which you can get almost anywhere

Sandpaper (80 grit and 120 grit) or a palm sander

Sticky-back vinyl paper (if you have a Cricut) or vinyl lettering

What you’ll need for HOPE-size blocks:

2 x 6’s cut to whatever size you’d like for your project. Mine were 7” tall.

Decorative paper (which I got at Hobby Lobby)

Mod Podge (see link above)

Brayer Roller (see link above)

Foam brushes

Sandpaper (80 grit and 120 grit) or a palm sander

Sticky-back vinyl paper (if you have a Cricut) or 6” stencils if your blocks are 7” tall.

I realize there a lot of supplies needed for these projects, but everything here will go a long way for future projects.
