The more authors I interview, the less traveled I feel. The lives some of these women have led, the places they’ve lived, and the opportunities they’ve taken to minister to a hurting world amazes me. Christine Dillon grew up in Taiwan (the first 22 years of her life), spent time in the Philippines, and she is Australian.
Anne Perrault has traveled even more extensively. She’s had a multitude of careers before becoming a beloved romance writer.
I recently vacationed in Puerto Rico and thought that was a big deal—even though it’s a U.S. territory—which is only one reason these two interviewees impressed me.
Below you will find the show notes from their podcast episodes along with ways to connect with them. I highly recommend you take the time to listen to their interviews, as they are both fascinating authors whose stories go far beyond the limited space I have available to talk about them in a blog post.
Christine is Australian and was a physiotherapist but now she writes ‘storyteller’ on any airport forms. She can legitimately claim to be this as she has written two books on storytelling and spends much of her time either telling Bible stories or training others to do so. She was based in Taiwan from 1999-2021 but has recently returned to Australia, although continuing to work with OMF International. Believing so much in the power of stories has led her to fiction. Her first novel, Grace in Strange Disguise was released October 2017, and in 2021 she completed the sixth novel in the series, Grace Across the Miles. In her spare time, she enjoys being active: hiking, cycling, and swimming. Of course, she’s a bookworm too.
If you like compelling Christian fiction, relatable characters, and real emotion, then you’ll love Christine Dillon’s inspiring series.

Anne Perreault admits her life has been exciting. She grew up in Germany and was able to travel extensively even as a child. She found at a young age that she loved books and making up stories. When she was fourteen, her family moved to Dubai in the UAE. It was where she discovered her love for skating and decided she would pursue a career as a vet. If she wasn’t at the rink skating, she was either riding or training Arabian horses.
At seventeen, she moved to Austria to attend an American boarding school. Upon graduation, she moved to southern England where she attended college and met her husband. The two of them settled in Connecticut, where she became a horseback riding instructor and later, a certified therapeutic riding instructor.
Anne has several book series including To Protect and Serve, Yellowstone, Cooper Family, and Royal Skater Chronicles. You can connect with her via her website Into the Light Fiction or follow her on her Amazon Author Page. Listen to the entire podcast episode here.
