One of my favorite Christian artists is Casting Crowns. Not only do they harmonize so beautifully, I find their lyrics to be deep and touching. I literally cry when listening to “Oh My Soul” and “Just be Held.” They have a way of reaching into my innermost being and tugging on my insecurities then lifting me into the arms of Jesus. What an incredible gift to be able to write and sing like they do!
Years ago, Chris and I were in a couples’ Bible study, and I had to share with the group the video for “Broken Together.” What a picture of how messed up we truly are, and if our marriage is going to stand the test of time, we need to see the truth of it and trust in Jesus to be the center of our relationships. His healing power is real.
So, I’ve been following the Casting Crowns since 2007 when their breakout song “East to West” came out. And yet, I’ve never heard “Make Room” even though it’s been around for four years. I thought maybe you haven’t either. I hope you enjoy Casting Crowns and Matt Maher as they sing this non-traditional Christmas song.
