What a delightful month of podcast interviews! I was blessed to meet with two very unique authors—Jane Daley and Michele Olson.
Jane and her husband sold everything, packed up their RV and have been traveling the country. In her “spare” time, she is able to write stories of hope, redemption, and inspiration. I cannot imagine living in such a small space, but she’s enjoying every minute of it.
Michele Olson’s titles alone draw me to want to read what she pens. Her setting on Mackinac Island is also dear to my heart, since I remember the only movie I ever went to with my cousin was Somewhere in Time with Jane Seymour and Christopher Reeve (before his tragic accident), which was filmed on Mackinac Island.
If you haven’t yet listened to their interviews, I hope you’ll take the time to do so. And be sure to connect with them via their websites and on their social medias.
Jane Daly is a Christian author, columnist, and speaker. She and her husband sold everything and moved into a home on wheels – Eleanor Rigsby. Midlife crisis? Maybe. Fulfilling a lifelong dream? Yes!
When she’s not watching beautiful scenery roll past her RV, she can be found hunched over her computer, writing stories to inspire and challenge her readers. Her novels Girl in the Cardboard box, Broken: A Story of Redemption, and Broken Silence shine a light on the gritty side of life and the redemption that can be found in a relationship with Jesus Christ. Her non-fiction work includes The Caregiving Season and Because of Grace: A Mother’s Journey from Grief to Hope.
You can connect with Jane on her website where you can purchase her books, follow her social media links, and sign up to follow her RV journey.
Michele Olson has been in communications for over forty years as a radio DJ, voice artist, speaker, and interviewer. She’s taken all that experience and created her Mackinac Island Series, starting with Book #1, Piper Penn’s story Being Ethel (In a World that Loves Lucy). Book #2: Being Dorothy (In a World Longing for Home); Book #3: Being Alice (In a World Lost in the Looking Glass); Book #4: Being Wendy (In a World Afraid to Grow Up); Book #5: Being Nancy (In a World Lost in Mystery).
You can connect with Michele on her website, sign up for her newsletter, and get a closer look at her creative and unique books.
