I love to sing. Sadly, God did not grace me with a great singing voice, so the only time I really belt it out is when I’m alone in my car with the radio as backup. I used to sing when Chris was with me, but there was a definite correlation between my singing and his turning up the radio volume. He said it was because he knew how much I loved the song, but he’s nothing if not kind.
When I hear someone sing with a truly beautiful voice, it makes my heart ache. When I hear someone sing with both a beautiful voice and words that speak to my spirit, it brings literal tears to my eyes. One of my favorite duos is Caleb and Kelsey Grimm. They have a sweet love story, but more than that, they worship the Lord with voices like angels. I hope their arrangement of “O Holy Night” and “Silent Night” combined stays with you throughout the Christmas season and reminds you why we celebrate the birth of our Savior.
