  1. I’m grateful for my son and his family. I’m also grateful for a warm place to live, food to eat and family and friends to share it with. Thanks for your great generosity.

  2. what a wonderful video. thanks both of you for sharing. I am so thankful that as a family we have had so many wonderful Christmas’s. We would start out by going to Christmas Eve service. Come home and change into our pajamas. than we would have pizza and chocolate milk (the kids idea) I had already made a lamb cake. We would sing happy birthday to Jesus. As we were eating cake, my husband would read the christmas story, and we would discuss it. As the kiddos got older and could read, we would take turns reading the Christmas story. As they got older our discussions became more intellectual deeper and more heartfelt. The story would take our discussions into many areas of what Jesus wanted us to be and why. Then we would open one christmas present. It was always a book and we would stay up for a while reading our books. Christmas morning would start out with making coffee cake (as the kiddos got older they would make the coffee cake) and scrambled eggs. We would head out to my parents home and stay until after lunch. Then we would head out to my husbands parents home and we all had an early dinner and then we would come home. Phewwww such a long and joyous day. Now as empty nesters we miss those times when the kiddos were growing up. But we have so many great memories
